Sailing Academy.  

We also are an American Sailing Association (ASA) affiliated facility, offering sailing courses mainly in Kos and Athens.
The ASA courses are a world recognised sailing courses, very similar to the RYA. The practical training
takes place on board since that these programs are minimum 6 nights 7 days live-aboard.

The American Sailing Association is available with the above charters composed of one or two weeks sailing vocations.  World wide sailing certification is combined with the holiday. The ASA has structured levels of sailing standards, which are examined at progressive certification levels. 

A Basic Keelboat (Course 101) and basic coastal cruising (course 103).

B Bare boat chartering (course 104)

C  Cruising Catamaran (course 114).

These programmes and costs will be provided on application to the company concerned.

Security and deposit.

The said refundable Security Deposit is required upon embarkation and will cover any damage or loss of the yacht and her equipment during the cruise.

Insurance.  All boats are insured against:

*Risks arising from liability to third parties and damage to hull, machinery, and equipment.

*Damage liability third party and passengers yacht €150,000 any one accident.

*Sea pollution liability €90,000.

A deductible provision is applied, depending on the yachts value.

Bookings.

Company booking plans are not fixed, they are actually developed in the season, so that when we have a request for a particular class of vessel from you and for  a particular Island we will ask about availability. 

*As soon as we, the agents, have an idea of what our customers would like, we fax a company or e-mail, the availability of yachts will be noted and reported back as soon as possible.

*Any specific offers will be available for a week.

*The booking is then confirmed by a Reservation form, which you should sign and return. Then a contract form will be issued. You should sign all copies, keep one, and send the remainder to us.

Travel details: Kos, Rhodos, Corfu, Lefkas, Skiathos have international airports with plenty of cheap charter flights. They are also connected with Athens El.Venizelos airport with 6-8 daily flights. The main Domestic Airlines that connect Athens with the Greek Islands and mainland are Olympic Arlines (www.olympic-airways.gr)  and Aegean Airlines (www.aegeanair.com)

Lavrion is very close to Athens El.Venizelos aiport (35 min by taxi). Lefkas has no airport itself but the Aktion airport of Preveza (mainland), is 10 minutes drive from Lefkas as they are connected by bridge. Skiathos, Samos and Syros have not international airports, but they are still connected with Athens. All the Islands are connected with plenty of Ferries and the following link is a very useful tool to help you establish the Ferry details: http://www.gtpweb.com/RoutesForm.asp Lefkas is also reachable from the mainland by car. Corfu can be reached also by Ferry from Igoumenitsa or Patras (mainland).

Skiathos can also be reached with ferry from Volos (mainland).  

Cancellation policy.

1. When cancellation is announced 21 days prior to departure, 100% of the charter fee is payable.

2.  When cancellation is announced 22-45 days prior to departure, 50% of the total charter fee is payable.

3.  When cancellation is announced from the release time to 46 days prior to departure, 25% of the total charter fee is payable.

If  the particular yacht is chartered after a cancellation by another party on the same dates, the total chart charter fee will, under those circumstances, be returned to the customer.  (This may not include the agents fee which has been paid out for work completed and is 20% of the total).
